This is more than a memoir; it's a journey of healing, faith, and transformation. For those who grew up without a father.
Becoming the Man I Needed is a transformative men’s conference and the official launch of my deeply personal book, The Father I Never Had and The Father Who Always Had Me.
This event will challenge men to confront father wounds, reclaim their identity, and rise with purpose into the man they were always meant to be.
Garett Elliott is an author, speaker, and he is on a mission to help men rewritetheir stories.
His recent book, " The Father I Never Had and The Father Who Always Had Me", is more than a memoir. It is a message to every man who has ever felt abandoned, overlooked, or broken by the absence of a father. He grew up without his. Though he was alive, he never cared, not for him or his 20-plus children. That absence left scars: financial hardship, missed opportunities, and deep emotional wounds.
But it also lit a fire.
Today, he uses his journey, from fatherlessness to faith, from lack to legacy, to show men that healing is possible. That we don’t have to repeat what broke us. That God, the Father who never leaves, can fill every void and raise us into the men we were born to be.
I speak to the heart of men who are searching for more, more wholeness, more purpose, more of God. Through this book and my calling, I help men confront the wounds of the past, redefine what it means to be a man, and discover the strength of the Father who never left. When we surrender to His lead, we don’t just heal, we rise, and we become the men we needed.
